  The pub is lovely and welcoming with friendly, helpful staff and the food was first class.
  The passageways to the rooms are dark and dingy and not in keeping with the rest of the building making you fear what you're about to walk into as you head to your room.
  The room itself was nice with all the facilities you should expect and a beautiful en suite bathroom.
  What seriously let the whole experience down for me was the terrible bed in our room.
  The bed was a cheap, flat pack bed with an unsprung base made from metal bars which was rickety and made a terrible noise at the slightest movement.
  This was made ten times worse by the incredibly thin foam mattress which enabled you to feel every bar of the bed frame supporting your bodyweight.
  The bed really was a huge disappointment compared to every other aspect of our stay at The Swan.
